Instructor Training

Level 1 Pilates Coursework

Our mission is to instruct and mentor Pilates instructors with a solid foundation in the Pilates technique, biomechanics, somatics and pedagogy. The Level 1 coursework consists of the following three modules: Matwork, Essential Equipment & Kinesiology, and Chair. The Pilates Teacher Training coursework schedule can be found here.

Gyrotonic Instructor Training

The path to becoming a certified Gyrotonic instructor is made up of a pre-training, a foundation course, and supervised apprenticeship hours. The calendar of all of Pacific Movement Center's Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis instructor training can be found here.

Gyrokinesis Instructor Training

Certified Gyrokinesis instructors complete their training in three segments: a pre-training course, a foundation course, and supervised apprenticeship hours. The calendar containing all Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis teacher training courses is available here.
